How To Share & Stream Movies or Videos Over The Local WiFi Network Attached Hard Disk Drive (HDD) to Raspberry Pi Openelec Kodi. if you have installed kodi on raspberry pi.you have come across the problem that it cannot detect external HDD because of current limitation.so instead of connecting usb every time and watch movies simply connect your hdd movie collection to wifi router and stream it directly over the local wifi network to openelec kodi.

Steps :-
1.first go to videos – files – add videos – then browse – add network location
2.Select Protocol as windows sharing smb (Samba)
3.enter wifi router ip address with username and password and click ok.
4.now again go to videos you will see your wifi router ip address as new network location from where you can browse the movie that you want to watch.
